Blooms on Darby is owned and run by local floral stylists Melissa and Natalie Hart. This mother-daughter team are on a floral journey together producing beautiful floral creations for all moments in life. Having worked together for many years, they compliment each other in both design and knowledge. Having both trained at Ultimo Tafe (just a few years apart!), their strength lies in their ability to create floral designs that range from structured and controlled to organic and wild. Along with a passion for interior design and travel, they bring together their ideas and inspirations to create boutique floral designs through the use of texture, shape and colour.
As the Creative Directors of Blooms on Darby, Melissa and Natalie work alongside their team to bring a wide range of timeless and memorable floral designs to the Greater Newcastle, Hunter Valley and Lake Macquarie region.
Blooms on Darby was established in 2015 and has called 169 Darby Street home since its inception. Darby Street has a reputation as a unique, village-style shopping and dining district.
At home amongst the mixture of boutiques and restaurants, as well as a diverse art scene, Blooms on Darby is an overflowing and wild floral studio that is loved by local businesses and residents alike.
